By providing a vehicle registration number, you can retrieve complete details directly from official transport databases, including information about the vehicle owner, chassis and engine numbers, model, date of registration, and insurance records. You can verify vehicle RC details directly through the Cashfree Merchant Dashboard using the following steps:
  1. Log in to the Merchant Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Other Official Documents > Vehicle RC.
  3. Enter the Vehicle Registration Number and click Verify.
  4. Review the returned details, including ownership and registration information.

Batch verification via dashboard

To verify vehicle RCs in batches using the Merchant Dashboard:
  1. Log in to the Merchant Dashboard.
  2. Select Upload File under the Vehicle RC section.
  3. Upload a CSV containing multiple registration numbers.
  4. Retrieve verification results in bulk.

Smart OCR for vehicle RC

You can verify vehicle Registration Certificate (RC) details by uploading a scanned copy or a clear photo of the RC using Smart OCR. The steps to use Smart OCR for verification are as follows:
  1. Log in to the Merchant Dashboard.
  2. Upload a scanned RC card/document or a high-quality image (front side).
Smart OCR detects the document type as a vehicle RC and extracts key fields such as:
  • Vehicle registration number
  • Owner’s name and father’s or husband’s name
  • Registration date and validity
  • Vehicle class, fuel and body type, maker or model details
  • Chassis and engine number
  • Seating capacity, vehicle weight, engine cubic capacity, colour
  • Address of the registered owner
  • Issuing authority and location
Verification results are displayed instantly on the Merchant Dashboard.
